Customer Care Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Care Department. The Customer Care Officer plays a crucial role in our commitment to providing excellent customer service by offering guidance and support to our customers and ensuring their satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with people.

The Customer Care Officer reports directly to the Customer Care Manager and functionally to the Senior Customer Care Officer.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, system, and communication channels professionally and efficiently.
- Provide step-by-step guidance and basic technical support to customers navigating self-service portals.
- Provide accurate information and guidance to customers regarding our services and policies.
- Ensure all submitted information is complete and accurate, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, striving for a positive resolution for all parties involved.
- Document all customer interactions via phone calls, social media, and appointments within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team to improve service quality.
- Collaborate closely with team members to uphold a consistently high standard of customer satisfaction.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

- Knowledge of social legislation and relevant national regulations for employers applicable to SZV.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Employer Portal, and MySZV is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and able to adapt quickly to new technologies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adept at prioritizing effectively.
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with customers.
- Active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Proficiency in Spanish and French is a significant advantage.

Education & Experience:

- Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience.
