Public Tender: Pre-selection Contractors for New SZV Office

The contractor for the New SZV Office will be selected following a public tender in two stages. The first stage is the pre-selection of Qualified Tenderers following the Request for Information. The Qualified Tenderers will be invited to participate for the second stage; the Construction Tender. It is SZV’s preference to select a strong, local based, experienced contractor.

Description of works:

An office building, with a gross floor area of approximately 3,000 square meters consisting of a main building, a wing and an intersection.

- Total number of parking spaces: 94 of which a part will be under the building and the plaza
- A welcoming/recreational plaza
- All technical and mechanical installations
- Flooring, ceilings, sun protection/shades etc.
- All ducts/cables for the ICT network (excluding hardware) and security systems etc.
- A dedicated waste water treatment plant
- All other required infrastructure

The construction contract will be a fixed lump sum contract based on the UAV 2012 and Sint Maarten Law.

Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2023.

In this pre-selection stage SZV is providing, via the Request for Information, the relevant information pertaining to the scope of the Project and the applicable procedures for this pre-selection stage and the Construction Tender.

Interested contractors can request a copy of the Request for Information only by sending an email with your contact information to szvtender@szv.sx. You will receive your copy within one working day.

In this pre-selection stage, interested contractors are invited to submit their experiences and technical competences for construction projects as per the directives of the Request for Information.

Contractors are required to upload their pre-selection documents in English in PDF format no later than: December 5, 2022 before noon, St. Maarten time as per the directives of the Request of Information.
